JESUS THE DIVINE HEALER
INTRODUCTION
Ours is a newly started “Pious Association of Jesus the Divine Healer”. Our Pious Association is situated at Divine Healer Nagar, Virallipatty on the way to Thavasimadai. It is situated 12 Kms away from Dindigul the Head Quarters of Dindigul District. The Pious Association of “Jesus the Divine Healer” was started by Rev. Fr. A. Joseph Victor, according to the Vision and Mission received from of God.
Prayer is not a part of our life but prayer is our life
The total gift of oneself to God is the sign of Love of God and Love of neighbor. Every member in the Pious Association of Jesus the Divine Healer (JDH) starts living a life that is new and in a very special way, consecrated to God. Thus, every individual brother concentrates on the total gift of giving himself to God, his supreme love by following and imitating Christ and on his filial love through total dedication to his Church. The consecrated life at the Pious Association of Jesus the Divine Healer (JDH) is itself a sign of total availability to God, the Church and the brethren, which is a privileged means of effective evangelization. We live our consecrated life authentically, whatever concrete task we carry out, our “silent witness of poverty and abnegation, of purity and sincerity, of self-sacrifice in obedience, besides being a challenge to the world and to the Church herself, can become an eloquent witness capable of touching also non-Christians who have good will and are sensitive to certain values”. Through prayer and self-denial, the members are introduced to a fuller way of perfection and are instructed in contemplating the mystery of salvation and in reading and meditating on the Sacred Scriptures.
Thus, we (the members of the Pious Association of Jesus the Divine Healer) are called upon in a special way to dedicate ourselves totally to build up the church through our thoughts, words and actions. The Pious Association of Jesus the Divine Healer aims to raise up faithful Priests who will give themselves to the healing ministry in the Church. Thus, it becomes instrumental in strengthening and growth of the Body of Christ.
